Spring Quilling: Blooming Lupines

Need more lupines in your life? Create your own through the art of quilling! Quilling—also known as paper filigree—is a decorative art form dating back to the Renaissance. It involves rolling, shaping, and gluing thin strips of paper to create beautiful designs and patterns.
Spring Quilling with Kelly, taking place on Saturday, May 23rd, from 9 am to noon, is a fun and creative workshop focused on crafting blooming lupines. Whether your style is intricate or delightfully simple, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels—no prior experience required. All materials will be provided.
This workshop is open not only to women but to everyone in the community—ages 14 and up (a guardian is required if the participant is under 16). Registration is required.
You may recognize Kelly from here at WHRL, where she serves as our Communications Coordinator, managing social media and newsletter publications. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time at home with her husband, hiking, and exploring various crafts—including quilling. She learned the art as a child from her grandmother and is excited to share this timeless craft with others.
Registration opens March 1st.
