Season Extension for Home Gardeners

Just because summer is coming to an end doesn’t mean your garden has to. You can continue to harvest fresh garden produce well after the first frost, and this workshop will teach you how. Participants will learn about cold-hardy crops that thrive in the cooler days of fall, as well as strategies for protecting crops from cold, such as taking advantage of garden microclimates or using a variety of simple, improvised shelters.

This free program has limited space, and registration is required. Registration opens July 1.
