Holiday Card Quilling

If you have ever wanted to try quilling or build upon your existing skills, now is the perfect time! Quilling art, also known as paper filigree, is a form of decorative art dating back to the Renaissance that involves rolling, shaping, and gluing thin strips of paper to create designs and patterns. Quilling with Kelly on Saturday, November 22nd, will be a fun and creative workshop focused on making Holiday cards. Your creation can be as intricate or as simple as you like, and starting with notecards is a small and manageable way to learn! Materials will be supplied.

You may know Kelly from here at WHRL, as she is our Communications Coordinator, handling our social media and newsletter publications. In her off hours, Kelly enjoys time at home with her husband, hiking, and various crafts, including quilling. She learned the art of quilling as a child with her grandmother and rekindled her interest in this art form earlier this year.
