Haley has been gaining experience working as a certified nursing assistant at Narraguagus Bay Health Care Facility in Milbridge. Long term plans include advanced education to become either a nurse practitioner on nurse-midwife. Haley is the daughter of Michael and Tabitha Dinsmore of Milbridge.

The awards are made in memory of Elaine Hill, who served the greater Milbridge community as a dedicated nurse for over 30 years at the Milbridge Medical Center.  Elaine died in 2009 after a battle with breast cancer.
