Milbridge Commons – Fall 2018
During this season of Thanksgiving, the Women’s Health Resource Library is delighted to report that we have received an extremely generous contribution toward the children’s playground at Milbridge Commons. A check in the amount of $10,000 arrived last week from a charitable foundation; the actual donor remains anonymous to us. This donation provides great momentum for the playground fundraising and we are enormously grateful.
We felt a need to publicly express our thanks in the hopes that the donor might know the depth of our gratitude. The WHRL relies solely on individual and foundation support to continue our work creating a healthier, more vibrant community. As a small grassroots organization, these donations allow us to spend more time on actual community-building projects and less time fundraising. So, to our mystery donor, a very heartfelt and sincere thank you. The children of the Milbridge area are the direct beneficiaries of your goodness.
