DESCRIPTION:Join WHRL alongside MOFGA and Maine Seacoast Mission for Beginner Chainsaw Safety–Open to all! \nLearn safe chainsaw operation in these one-and-a-half-day courses. We’ll cover personal protective equipment (PPE) and chainsaw selection\, and practice safe handling and open-face bore cutting techniques with instructor supervision. Designed for beginners. \nLocation: Maine Seacoast Mission – Downeast Campus\, 6 Weald Bethel Ln\, Cherryfield\, ME 04622Hours: Day 1 of this course will run 10am – 4pm\, and Day 2 will run 8am – 4pm. \n$240 general admission and $190 for MOFGA and Midcoast Conservancy members. \nPlease reach out to forestry@mofga.org with any questions. \n*Limited scholarship funds are available to community members in order to increase program accessibility.
