Planting an insectary garden helps us to balance our domesticated gardens with the wild spaces that surround them\, working with\, rather than against nature. By attracting and welcoming a variety of insects and other creatures (such as hummingbirds\, butterflies\, and amphibians) to the garden we can provide natural pest control\, boost pollination for better yields\, improve soil health\, and reduce our reliance on harmful chemical pesticides.
