Join us with Hazel Stark from Maine Outdoor School on this hike through Tide Mill Creek. If you’re a nature observer, this is the most overwhelming time of year, with new flowers, leaves, and birds making themselves known everywhere! We’ll slow down and learn to identify the individual birds and plants most noteworthy in mid-spring along Tide Mill Creek, which offers lots of time for exploring, nature journaling, and enjoying the view.
Location: Jonesboro, Maine
Difficulty: This is an easy-moderate hike (less than 3 miles)
Gear: Participants will need close-toed shoes comfortable for hiking in, like hiking boots or sneakers, a backpack to fit warm and waterproof layers in, water, and snacks.
Space is limited, and registration is required!
Please let us know if gas prices prevent you from participating! Contact lizzie@whrl.org.
