Scarecrow Contest

Join our scarecrow contest and see if you can create the best scarecrow featured at our Fall Apple Fest on Saturday, October 5th! This contest is open to individuals, families, and groups. The winning scarecrow will earn prizes and bragging rights. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your supplies and show us what exciting scarecrows you can dream up!

Contest Guidelines:

1. The contest is open to groups, individuals, and families.
2. Entries must be fully assembled and delivered to Milbridge Commons on September 25th from 8 am to 1 pm or Thursday, September 26th, from 1-6 pm.
3. Entries must remain until Sunday, October 6th, but can remain through October 31st. Entries still on-site by November 7th will be disposed of.
4. Scarecrows must be able to stand/sit on their own.
5. This registration serves as a waiver of liability. WHRL is not responsible for scarecrows on display or for any loss or damage.
6. Please ensure your scarecrow is sturdy enough to last through the entire month of October.
7. WHRL may use photos, stories, scarecrows, and entry form information for future publicity and promotion.
8. WHRL reserves the right to deny entries considered offensive or those making controversial, religious, advertising, or political statements.
9. Winners will be announced at the Fall Apple Fest on Saturday, October 5th.
