Intro to Knitting with Kelly offers a fun and relaxed environment where beginners can learn to knit in a welcoming setting. Kelly will guide participants through the basics of knitting, from casting on to creating a simple garter stitch pattern to casting off. If that last sentence didn’t make sense to you, it will after you spend the morning with Kelly! The focus is on making the learning process enjoyable and stress-free, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practice.
Join us on Saturday, October 18th, from 9 am to noon at the WHRL Office. WHRL offers a great place to start crafting and connect with others!
You may know Kelly from here at WHRL, as she is our Communications Coordinator, handling our social media and newsletter publications. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time at home with her husband, as well as hiking, knitting, and crocheting. Kelly is a self-taught knitter who picked up this craft about six years ago. She is excited to show others that, through step-by-step guidance and practice, they, too, can learn to knit!
Registration opens in early September.
