More about SoulCollage®

If you know the saying, “A picture’s worth a thousand words.” or you can hum Rod Stewart’s “Every Picture Tells a Story,” you have begun to understand the essence of SoulCollage. Yes, “SoulCollage”… two words deliberately fused together by its founder, the late Seena Frost, who developed the concept into an international community. Her first book, SoulCollage®, was a finalist for the Nautilus 2002 Book Awards for “titles that contribute significantly to conscious living and positive social change.”

The process involves cutting or tearing images from magazines, catalogs, junk mail, old calendars, greeting cards… anything destined for recycling or the landfill. Chosen because they somehow appeal or even repel, these pictures become the raw material for a 5” x 7” collage.

If collage sounds like artwork, fear not! No special skills are needed. If you can glue one piece of paper to another, you can create a SoulCollage®!

Slowly, these images can begin to “speak” to you. As your imagination and intuition place them together, they begin to develop new meanings. You will start a deck of cards– visual journals that may surprise you with their insights. Think of them as postcards from your soul. Learn more about SoulCollage® here.

An essential part of the SoulCollage® process is the joy of tapping into one’s intuition to answer current life questions. The visual images that have mysteriously found us, the ones we have glued onto cards and named as our guides, allies, and challengers, will now help us access deep knowings in ourselves. People who [later] consult their cards in personal readings, using the signature “I Am One Who… ” exercise, are often surprised at the synchronicity of the cards they draw, and by the wisdom of their answers.
