Join Hazel Stark, from Maine Outdoor School on this hike and learn how to find clues about the landscape’s history–both in the recent past and long ago.
Location: Gouldsboro, Maine
Difficulty: This is a moderate hike
Gear: Bring warm winter layers, including waterproof, insulated boots. As a base layer, long johns (wool or synthetic) are recommended underneath bulky warm mid-layers and water/windproof outer layers, including mittens/gloves and a hat. Bring a comfortable backpack to carry extra layers and water in. Questions about how to prepare? Just ask! We have extra gear to share. Snowshoes are available as needed by request.
