Full of Beans!

Casserole, salad, soup, dessert; baked, boiled, fried, pureed: Beans are a staple food around the world.

With Pat Olsen as our leader, we’ll start by cooking a basic black bean and vegetable soup that is delicious, nutritious and economical. We’ll then make Middle Eastern hummus, an American bean salad and a Japanese red bean dessert.

Email your favorite bean recipe to Lizzie@whrl.org to share with our group. You are welcome to bring a bean dish on Saturday for us to sample!

Registration opens in early February.
