Lifetime potter at the Clay of Fundy, Sign and Boat Painter, Yoga Teacher, Sailing Crew, K-8 Art Teacher, Musician, Connie has worn many hats. She designed her house, studio, and gallery in East Machias to homestead, raise two children, enjoy the community, and relish the air, water, and land of Maine. XC skiing, hiking, and belly dancing bring her joy.
Art-wise, Connie’s main passion is clay. She studied many different styles under many teachers as far back as high school. She got a big kick out of Japanese aesthetics and continues her study of calligraphy and painting watercolor type slips layered on porcelain finished with a clear glaze. A potter for 50 years, and a humorist, she has led workshops that are easy to learn and a lot of fun.
