About Me

I moved to Maine in 2021 along with my husband and three rescue dogs. I’m an avid gardener, tennis player and hiker with hopes of climbing every summit in Maine. I grew up in the Dakotas and have lived in Australia, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina, Florida and now Maine…hopefully my final move! In the past few years I have transitioned to a plant-based diet and love experimenting with new recipes.

What excites me about this hike

I’m so excited to train hard for this hike and experience one of the most iconic Maine summits as well as the finale to the Appalachian Trail. An added bonus is that my summit will help fund the Elaine Hill Memorial Nursing Scholarship! Thank you WHRL!
