AN INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY FOR OWL – OUTDOOR WOMEN LEAD!
This is a two day course — October 7th and 8th from 9 am – 5 pm.
SOLO Wilderness First Aid (WFA) creates a solid foundation in back-country medical care. Applying basic backcountry first aid is vital for outdoor enthusiasts, whether for yourself or others. This 16-hour, 2-day program will introduce you to patient assessment, treatment, and management of injuries in backcountry conditions. You will learn to improvise splints and litters, stop bleeding, and other potentially lifesaving skills. There is also an optional CPR course for those who wish to add a SOLO CPR certification.
Only twelve spots are available! For more information and to register, visit https://whrl.org/programs/owl.
