“It’s a Hay Day!” – Volunteer Day at Milbridge Commons

Are you interested in giving back to the gardens that nourish this community? Join us at Milbridge Commons for Give Back Days! Meet other gardeners and community members and work together to make these gardens flourish. Wednesdays, 9 am – 1 pm. No RSVP is needed — come for an hour or the whole time. All are welcome!

On May 24th, we will be weeding the paths, spreading straw, and getting ready to transplant seedlings. We hope to see you there!

What to Bring:

• Comfortable/appropriate clothing!  You will be playing in the dirt
• Water Bottle
• Snacks if you think you’ll be hungry!
• Work Gloves (Not required but highly recommended)
• Your favorite gardening tool (ex. Hori hori, hand trowel, etc.). Make sure it’s labeled or easily identifiable as yours!
• A hat for sun protection
• Sunblock as needed
