The Women’s Health Resource Library and Maine Coast Heritage Trust invite the public to begin enjoying Milbridge Commons. Located off Main Street, a temporary walking track has been mowed for public use until development of the Milbridge Commons public garden and park begins next year.

Milbridge Commons is a joint project with the Women’s Health Resource Library and Maine Coast Heritage Trust. The two groups are working to turn this 4.6 acre waterfront meadow into a park-like setting for the community. It will include a walking track, orchard, more Incredible Edible pick-your-own organic vegetable gardens and play space for children. With community input, the park has been named the Milbridge Commons. We have hired a landscape architect, Bruce Riddell, to help us imagine and create inviting natural areas for bird watching, quiet reflection, walking, and enjoyment of the pristine views of Narraguagus Bay.

Look for the Milbridge Commons sign directly across from the Milbridge Historical Society. Please, no motorized vehicles on the walking track.
