When is the last time you sat down and engaged in an activity that freed your mind from your day-to-day worries?

The act of engaging in a creative activity gives you the feeling of balance in your life. During a 2004 TED talk, Psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi said,”When we are involved in (creativity), we feel that we are living more fully than during the rest of life.”

Join us for a fun and relaxing evening in the company of other women as you to take a moment for yourself, breath deep, and learn to express yourself through painting. No prior painting experience required!

Artist, Janie Snider will be your guide as you explore your inner artist. Each evening will feature a subject, but we will not leave with the same painting. We are all different with unique experiences and visions. Therefore, you will develop our own interpretation of the subject matter to create our your own individual painting. You will learn about painting techniques, color, composition and creativity!

You’ll receive an 11 x 14” canvas. Paints and brushes, light snacks, wine and soft drinks will be provided. Bring your creativity and a smock!
