iemThe event is hosted by Incredible Edible Milbridge, a volunteer project that shows how a small community can pull together to make things better. In the summer, beautiful raised beds all through Milbridge produce vegetables and herbs. The idea goes further: to support local farmers and gardeners, to involve schools in the effort to start vegetable gardens, and to build pride, encouraging economic confidence about locally grown food. Community members, local businesses, and schools have partnered to create bountiful gardens and planters on doorsteps with invitations to “Help yourself!” This month, the ground has been broken for Incredible Edible Milbridge’s newest project: in 2015, we will have a community garden next to the Red Barn Motel. Come find out more while you shop for beautiful gifts for the holidays.

The art fair, a fundraiser for Incredible Edible Milbridge, is free and open to the public.
